Lactation consulation relies on evidence-based practices to address a range of infant feeding concerns. Our primary focus is helping families achieve their infant feeding goals, which includes addressing challenges like latch difficulties, tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties), low milk supply, and breastfeeding/chestfeeding pain. Lactation consultation can also provide valuable support for weaning, pumping, inducing lactation, bottle-feeding, and managing issues related to complex health conditions and prematurity.

Michelle is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and over 8 years of experience in lactation support. Her journey toward becoming an IBCLC has been fuelled by her passion for supporting families on their infant feeding journey.

Michelle specializes in delivering personalized and comprehensive support for your infant feeding journey. Her mission is to assist you in overcoming challenges, building confidence, and creating cherished bonding moments with your little one. This level of care and expertise guarantees that you and your family receive the specialized attention, guidance, and ongoing support you deserve.

Why is IBCLC certification essential? It signifies unwavering dedication to the highest standards of lactation care, incorporating the latest insights from lactation science and best practices. This specialized certification ensures that professionals possess the knowledge and expertise necessary to address even the most intricate infant feeding challenges, offering evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized guidance tailored to your unique needs. In fulfilling the requirements of certification, Michelle completed 1000+ hours of lactation support, more than 95 hours of specialized lactation education, and wrote a comprehensive exam in addition to her health-sciences background.
